A series of reports with implications for universities have rolled off the printing press

Well, what a busy 24 hours it has been for UK universities. Since the last Playbook hit your inbox, the Office for Students has published reports on two university inspections, the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education has released case studies of complaints related to accommodation, the Council for the Defence of British Universities has produced a report on university governance and Universities UK has published its latest snapshot of higher education data.

Let’s take them in order, then, starting with the latest two OfS reports into business and management courses. Regular readers will recall that England’s regulator has conducted a series of investigations into business courses, so far focused exclusively on non-Russell Group providers.
