The Westminster education committee has begun hearing evidence in its industrial action inquiry
The House of Commons education committee’s inquiry into the impact of industrial action on students got underway in earnest yesterday with the first in-person evidence sessions in Westminster. The deadline for written evidence submissions passed on Monday.
Across two sessions, running from 10am to midday, the committee heard first from student representatives and then from a trio of organisations that require no introduction for Playbook readers: the Office for Students, the Universities and Colleges Employers Association and the University and College Union.
