It continues to be a busy time for universities with another flurry of breaking news
As University of East Anglia vice-chancellor David Maguire said last week, there was no question that protests on the scale of those being held in the US over the Israel-Hamas war could occur on UK campuses.
That picture is now steadily materialising on campuses across the country. Reports show that protest camps have now been established by students at Goldsmiths, University of London, Soas, University College London and the universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds, Oxford, Manchester, Newcastle, Oxford, Sheffield and Warwick.
