Discussions over antisemitism and visa concerns continue

The UK vice-chancellors summoned to 10 Downing Street have presumably now made their way back to their campuses—provided they could negotiate yesterday’s LNER, Northern Trains and TransPennine Express strikes. Perhaps prime minister Rishi Sunak hooked them all up with a helicopter?

As is often the case with such things (and as we suggested in yesterday’s Playbook), much of what the government was hoping to achieve with the meeting—which focused on tackling reported increases in antisemitic abuse on campuses—happened in advance of the actual gathering.
