US politician and former secretary of state takes on role at Northern Irish institution

Former US secretary of state and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has become chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast.

On 2 January, the university announced Clinton had become the first female chancellor in its 175-year history. She will serve for five years.
