Former University of Greenwich vice-chancellor David Maguire to lead Dundee after predecessor’s resignation
David Maguire, chair of the UK’s higher education IT body Jisc, has become the University of Dundee’s interim principal and vice-chancellor after its previous leader was suspended and later resigned.
Maguire—who was vice-chancellor of the University of Greenwich until December 2019—will take up his role on 1 February and will lead the university for seven months. While acting vice-chancellor at the University of Dundee, Maguire will keep his part-time role at Jisc.
