Employers are planning a slower year ahead for hiring graduates due to Brexit uncertainty
Lack of clarity over Brexit is to blame for a downward turn in forecast graduate employment rates, according to the boss of a student employers’ group.
Stephen Isherwood, chief executive of the Institution of Student Employers (ISE), told Research Professional News that three years of confusion over Brexit was likely to be behind businesses’ cautious predictions for how many graduates they expect to hire this year.
