Student appetite for blended learning grows as leaders acknowledge digital shift ‘will not reverse’
Blended learning—a combination of online and in-person education—has become the model of choice for many UK students, lecturers and leaders, according to new findings by the higher education IT firm Jisc.
The inaugural report of the Learning and Teaching Reimagined initiative, which also includes the groups Emerge Education, Universities UK and Advance HE, found that Covid-19 “fundamentally changed” universities’ approach to education, with a growing appetite for online learning to be included alongside more traditional on-site lectures.
