Dropout rate falls at Russell Group universities

FOI data indicate more students are sticking with courses at research-intensive institutions

Fewer students are dropping out at many large research-intensive universities, Research Professional News can reveal.

There has been widespread concern that the number of students quitting courses would rise following the chaos in admissions after the A-level fiasco and the curbs Covid-19 has imposed on traditional student life.
