‘Unsustainable’ Covid timetables for international students

Overseas students join classes at night as teaching stays online during pandemic

Almost two-thirds of international students learning online during the pandemic have joined lectures or seminars during the night in their time zone, a report has revealed.

Research by rankings and data firm QS found that 63 per cent of international students surveyed said they had attended virtual lectures or seminars that had happened during their night-time, as many international students cannot travel to overseas campuses.
