Gender pay gap persists among postgraduates

LEO data show men are even outearning their more qualified female peers

Women with postgraduate qualifications in the UK continue to earn less than their male counterparts five years after graduation, the latest Longitudinal Education Outcomes data have shown.

According to postgraduate LEO data published on 20 May, in 2018-19, UK-domiciled women with a taught postgraduate (level 7) qualification earned 16.7 per cent less than men with the same level of degree five years after completing their studies.
