Research Professional News speaks to Zamzam Ibrahim, head of the National Union of Students

Yesterday, the NUS published its policy wish-list for the up-coming general election. Earlier this week we caught up with the union’s new president to talk about how she wants to transform higher education.

When Zamzam Ibrahim was elected president of the National Union of Students in April this year, she promised to “revitalise” the 97-year-old union. Six months later she made good on her promise as the NUS published its “plan for action” to decentralise its approach to campaigning and engage more students engaged with its work.
