Grant to help farmers adapt to climate change

Researchers from Michigan State University in the US have secured a US$700,000 grant to help farmers in Kenya and Zambia overcome the challenges posed by changes in climate.

The researchers will study changes in climate such as rainfall patterns, the severity of droughts and floods experienced by farmers, and measures taken by farmers to adapt.
