Carnegie funds US$7m worth of African research

The Carnegie Corporation of the US announced grants worth nearly US$7 million for African research on 3 October. The grants are part of a global grant round of US$30m.

The University of Ghana got a three-year US$2.35m grant for postgraduate training and research to advance scholarship and discourage African academics from leaving the country.
