Ghana pioneers research-focused degrees

Two universities that focus on equipping graduates with research skills opened their doors to students in Ghana on 29 September.

The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in the Volta Region near the Togolese border and the University of Energy and Natural Resources in western Ghana offer undergraduate courses only. But students will need to undertake research projects as part of their degrees.
