African universities need better financial management, the head of an African universities grouping said on 15 June.
Olugbemiro Jegede, outgoing secretary general of the Association of African Universities (AAU), told a conference for managers of African universities held in Cape Town, South Africa, on 14-17 June that the continent had vast resources that demanded good management.
