Two UK research funders released details of a funding scheme designed to strengthen research capacity in Africa on 7 September.
The Royal Society and the government’s Department for International Development (DfID) will publish the first call for proposals in November for the £15.3 million (US$24m) Africa Capacity Building Initiative.
