IT company funds research at CMU-Rwanda

Carnegie Mellon University in Rwanda has received a US$50,000 research grant to study the healthcare applications of information and communication technologies (ICT).

The grant comes from Ricoh Innovations Inc, an IT company based in Silicon Valley in the US. It is the first time the CMU-R, which is a branch campus of an American college, has received such a donation.
