EU has ‘more to do’ on cooperation

The European Union has “much more to do” on international cooperation despite strengthening ties with quickly emerging economies, research commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn has said.

“While we have done a lot to foster international cooperation, we’re not resting on our laurels,” she told scientists and members of the European Parliament at a conference in Brussels, Belgium, on 5 March.
