Director sought for AU’s science division

The African Union is looking for a director for its department of human resources, science and technology.

The incumbent will replace Abdul-Hakim Elwaer, who resigned in the first half of 2014.

The director will draft a budget for the HRST and oversee pan-African organisations that fall under it. These include the Equatorial Guinea-based African Observatory of Science, Technology and Innovation and campuses of the Pan-African University spread across the continent’s five regions.
