The Ethiopian Development Research Institute in Addis Ababa is seeking to hire a director of programmes on a long term contract basis.
The director will provide intellectual leadership and guidance for the institute and reports to the executive director.
The post is open for candidates with a PhD in economics and at least 12 years’ experience in research or academia. They also need to have a record of engagement with policy actors as well as with think tanks, government bodies, civil society and the private sector.
