The Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association is running a training workshop for managers who want to sharpen their skills in research contract management.
Barbara Herweg and Tendai Nevondo, research managers at Wits Commercial Enterprise, a private company affiliated to the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, will present the two-day workshop in July.
It will deal with such topics as identifying funders and calls, examining proposals, financing projects, winning contracts and financing the day-to-day activities of successful projects.
