Fellowships offered at South African HIV research centre

A leading HIV and Aids research centre in South Africa is calling for applications for fellowships.

The Centre for the Aids Programme of Research in South Africa offers fellowships for researchers at honours up to postdoctoral level. The fellowships are usually a year long.

Caprisa is headed by well-known researcher Salim Abdool Karim. The centre made headlines in 2010 when it published the results of a microbicide gel trial that afforded women partial protection against HIV.
