The Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association seeks to recruit a programme manager in marine science to be based at its headquarters on the island of Zanzibar.
The successful candidate will take charge of association’s Marine Science for Management programme, which funds coastal and marine research in the Western Indian Ocean region. The programme funds both natural and social sciences, placing emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches.
Applicants should have at least a relevant masters degree. A PhD and working knowledge of French will be beneficial.
