Romain Murenzi from Rwanda has returned to the role of executive director of The World Academy of Sciences in Trieste, Italy.
Murenzi returned to the post on 1 September, following a 14-month stint directing natural sciences and capacity building policy at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in Paris, France.
