The University of Nairobi in Kenya is to strengthen its vaccine development work with a UK-Kenya medical research partnership.
The Kenya Medical Research Institute–Wellcome Trust Research Programme paid the university a courtesy call on 29 April to discuss the plans.
The KWTRP is collaborating with the university’s College of Health Sciences and the College of Biological and Physical Sciences in building malaria molecular biology labs.
