The Kenyan government has released the inaugural membership of its Universities Funding Board, which will oversee university financing.
The UFB was formally created in December 2015. Its role is to manage funds issued by the government for public university expenditure, and attract resources for universities.
It will also advise the education ministry on funding and policy issues.
