Kenya’s biosafety conference on course despite election re-do

Kenya’s sixth annual national biosafety conference will go ahead in early October despite the possibility of a clash with a rerun of the country’s presidential election.

The organiser of the conference, the National Biosafety Authority, maintains that the conference is on from 3 to 6 October with the deadline for call for abstracts still set for 15 September. The event will be preceded by pre-conference workshops for two days.
