Moi University head named after protracted row

After nearly three years of controversy, Moi University in Kenya finally has a vice-chancellor: Isaac Kosgei.

Kosgei quietly took up office at Kenya’s third largest university on Wednesday, ending a long-standing leadership dispute that has had political, regional and tribal overtones.
