Kenya’s seventh National Science Week, scheduled for May, will focus on president Uhuru Kenyatta’s ‘Big Four’ development agenda, the country’s leading science agency has announced.
That means discussions at the the 7-11 May event will target manufacturing, food security, universal healthcare, and affordable housing—the priority areas that Kenyatta has vowed to focus on during his current and final term of office.
The National Council for Science Technology and Innovation has set 6 April as the final date for submitting full papers and posters, and write-ups on exhibitions and innovations for the event.
