Tanzania-Denmark scheme offers phytochemistry PhDs

Tanzania’s Sokoine University of Agriculture is calling for applications for four doctorate degrees on commercialisation of plant resources and products.

The scheme is a collaboration between Sokoine and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark with financial support from the Danish International Development Agency until 2022.

The PhDs will be in four areas related to phytochemistry: identification and characterisation of antimicrobial active ingredients, antimicrobial resistance, quality assurance, and the market for ‘green resources’ products in Tanzania.
