Kenya looks as though it is regaining its power to attract international conferences for research following a dip last year caused by lengthy and tense national polls.
In 2017 several academic events in Kenya were cancelled or postponed as a result of election activities and related unrest stretching from April to November.
However, at least three regional and international higher education events are underway or planned over the next three months.
