No cuts in health funding, says IDRC Africa boss

Canada's International Development Research Centre will not be spending less on health-related research and activities, says its sub-Saharan Africa regional director.

Health and ICT were designated individually as focus areas in the IDRC’s previous strategic plan. But Carter says health has been moved to the social and economic policies programme, while ICT research has moved to the technology and innovation programme.
