Canada's International Development Research Centre launched a call for applications for its 2018 research awards on 7 June.
Eleven awards will be tenable at the IDRC headquarters in Ottawa and one at the organisation’s regional office in Nairobi, Kenya.
Research must focus on at least one developing country. The 12 awards recognise work in a variety of thematic areas including research ethics, the environment, policy, think tanks and maternal and child health. The Kenya position will focus on livestock vaccine innovation.
