UK commits £5.1m to Ebola prevention in Uganda

The British government is to make £5.1 million (US$6.71m) available to support Uganda’s efforts in stopping Ebola crossing over from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Harriett Baldwin, the UK minister for Africa, announced the funding during a visit to the Uganda Virus Research Institute on 5 October.
