African projects win World Bank funding to curb gender violence

Three projects targeting Africa have won US$100,000 each from the World Bank for research into gender-based violence.

The World Bank and its partner, global research network the Sexual Violence Research Initiative, announced the winners on 17 April. Eleven projects were selected from more than 250 proposals.
