The Wellcome Trust, a British medical research charity, has announced a temporary change in the way it supports humanities and social science projects around the world.
Two one-off funding schemes—the International Exchange Awards and the Research Development Awards—will replace the trust’s regular Humanities and Social Sciences Investigator and Collaborative Awards for one year from mid-2020.
The change will not affect current holders of HSS grants, the trust says.
