CGIAR seeks assessment of under-evaluated research

The CGIAR consortium seeks institutions to help it turn the magnifying glass on its own completed projects in a call for impact assessments on “under-evaluated” areas of its research programmes.

The funding scheme is run under the direction of the CGIAR’s Independent Science and Partnership Council’s Standing Panel on Impact Assessment.

The areas of research the CGIAR wants to target are irrigation and water management, livestock, agroforestry, biodiversity, policy and social science and natural resource management. The funder is particularly keen on a wide impact assessment of completed research, specifically on poverty, social and environmental impacts.
