African researchers who want to hone their proposal-writing skills can apply for funding to attend a “bootcamp” in Burkina Faso in October. Applications close on 30 June.
The workshop is a collaboration between the Kenya-based Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa, Tanzania’s Ifakara Health Institute, and the hosting Institute for Research in Health Sciences in Ouagadougou.
The workshop takes place on 12-14 October and is aimed at early-career researchers working at an African organisation and whose work tackles African priority issues.
