African Development Bank issues second climate change fund call

The African Development Bank has issued a second call for proposals for its continental climate change fund. A total of US$5 million is available from the African Climate Change Fund.

Successful projects will receive between US$250,000 and US$1m each. African governments, regional organisations, funds, NGOs and research institutions are eligible to apply.

The AfDB’s preferred focus areas for the call are climate finance, small-scale or pilot programmes of climate adaptation, or helping vulnerable communities adapt to climate change.
