AU opens nominations for Kwame Nkrumah awards

The African Union welcomes nominations for its flagship scientific awards named after Ghana’s first president and liberator Kwame Nkrumah.

The awards are given out at three levels: two continental grants worth US$100,000 each; 10 awards worth $20,000 each reserved for two women in each of Africa’s five regions; and two awards targeting young scientists per AU member country worth $2,000 each.
