The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences has announced funding for a postdoctoral fellowship programme in partnership with Canadian institutes.
The Fields-Perimeter Fellowships fund recent African PhD graduates to receive training for a year at a Canada-based institute in either mathematics or theoretical physics.
The deal between AIMS, the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics was first announced in 2013.
