The European Commission has named the winners of the 2017 Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, which supports higher education cooperation within Africa.
A total of €9.6 million (US$11.4m) will be shared between seven funded projects involving more than 40 African and European universities. It is the second round of the programme to give out funding. The calls for proposals were issued in January this year.
