Africans scoop TWAS prizes for science-lagging countries

African scientists have made a clean sweep of The World Academy of Sciences’ prizes for researchers based in least developed and science-lagging countries.

The prizes were announced by TWAS on 27 November. Winners hail from Cameroon, Mali, Sudan and the Republic of Congo.
