Crick announces first batch of mid-career African fellows

The Francis Crick Institute in the United Kingdom has announced the first winners of a programme which aims to accelerate the careers of top African health researchers.

The five African Career Accelerator Awards winners were announced on 31 October. The second call for applications opened a few days later. For a Q&A about the second round click here.

The winners are Yaw Bediako from Ghana, Mandy Mason and Brigitte Glanzmann from South Africa, Benoit Assogba from Benin, and Peter Quashie also from Ghana.
