AU and WHO agree to deepen collaboration
The African Union and the World Health Organization have signed a collaboration agreement after a visit by AU Commission chair Moussa Faki Mahamat to Geneva, Switzerland, on 18 November. According to the agreement the WHO will support the nascent African Medicines Agency, the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, and continental efforts towards universal health coverage.
