Egypt shows up strong in new ‘impact rankings’

Egypt leads the African contingent in the Times Higher Education’s first University Impact Rankings, published on 3 April.

Many of the usually top-ranked African universities, such as the universities of Cape Town and the Witwatersrand in South Africa, do not feature, and may not have participated in these rankings.
