African UN body to study sustainability goals and agriculture funders vow to support food security on the continent.

ECA working on Africa SDG data report

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa will conduct a study on African data related to the Sustainable Development Goals, it announced at a meeting in Morocco on 5 August. The study will focus on data availability in Africa related to four SDGs: agriculture, health, education and energy. UNECA said a report on the findings will be presented at the African Regional Forum for Sustainable Development in Harare, Zimbabwe, in February 2020.
