Fifth cohort is Nairobi-based academy’s most geographically diverse to date
The African Academy of Sciences has picked the next group of young African scientists whose careers it wants to fast track, its largest and most diverse group to date.
The AAS announced its fifth cohort of affiliates on 24 January. Affiliates are early-career researchers who are supported over five years in various ways including training in grant writing and ethics, and given access to networking opportunities.
