Distance learning ‘fraught with challenges’, say Ghana vice-chancellors
Vice-chancellors in Ghana have said they will work to implement a government directive that all university education should move online while the coronavirus outbreak keeps campuses closed. However, they say in a 29 March statement that this rollout will be fraught with challenges, particularly for students who live in remote communities with limited internet access. As a result, vice-chancellors will make adjustments to accommodate students’ needs, including, if necessary, revising the academic calendar.
